Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Invasive Cardiology
Job Details:
Provide inpatient/outpatient coverage with hospital onsite, clinic, and call responsibilitiesCoverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends, with flexible scheduling coordinated with the clinic team
Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Weekend coverage consists of 24-hour beeper call
Minimum of 7-14 shifts per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day
Expected patient volume of 7-9 encounters per shift
Experience required with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echocardiograms
Must be proficient in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms
Nuclear reads are preferred but not required
Board certification required; fellowship training required
Active state license and active DEA required
Required certifications include BLS and ACLS
Providers will undergo a phone screening with the lead physician followed by a virtual team interview
