LifePoint Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology Physician for a locum tenens assignment at UPHS-Marquette in Marquette, MI. This is a scheduled clinical hours plus call position covering an ongoing scheduling need. The assignment begins November 23, 2026, and continues into 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Bread and butter IR procedures including biopsies, dialysis access, drain placement

Vascular procedures such as PV thrombectomy, venous and arterial thrombolysis

Reading vascular ultrasound (highly preferred)

Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call (20-minute response time required)

Patient encounters averaging 5-20 per shift in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Rounding responsibilities in both inpatient and outpatient capacities

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification: Certified in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology (board certification on file required)

License: Licensed in Michigan

Certifications: ACLS certification required

Fellowship: Preferred in Vascular and Interventional Radiology

Privileges: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges not available

EMR Systems: Proficiency with Athena and Cerner EMR systems

Estimated credentialing time: 60-90 days
