Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 Days

We are looking for providers who are experienced in interventional cardiology, must have a few years working in the field to be considered, new grads will not be considered going forward.

Position Highlights & Requirements

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for 24-hour call coverage in Eureka, California across key fall, winter, and spring dates.

• Licensure: Active California (CA) State Medical License and active DEA required.
• Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE within 3–5 years of residency); active ACLS, BLS, and active CA Radiologic Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Clinical Skill Mix: 75% Interventional / 25% Non-Invasive; Nuclear Cardiology reading/activity is required.
• EHR System: EPIC.
• Privileging Requirements: Must document active clinical hospital experience in the specialty within the last 2 years. Case logs required upon submission; any CV work history gaps over 3 months must be fully explained.

Target Coverage Date Blocks

Shifts run 24 hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM):

• Block 1 (Thanksgiving): November 25, 2026 – December 1, 2026
• Block 2: December 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026
• Block 3 (Holidays/New Year): December 18, 2026 – January 8, 2027
• Block 4: April 23, 2027 – April 30, 2027

Clinical Scope & Compensation Model

• Responsibilities: 24-hour beeper call covering emergent cath lab interventions, STEMI calls, inpatient cardiology consults, non-invasive reads, and nuclear studies.
