Position Details:
- Location: Pittsburg, Kansas
- Specialty: Interventional Cardiology

Schedule & Call:
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Call is provided via beeper
- Call is for assigned patients
- 15-minute call response time required
- Admissions are required
- No APP supervision required
- No resident or teaching supervision required
Clinical Environment:
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: 1 RN and 1 MA
- Hospital is Stroke Certified
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage is not both required
- No hospital/surgery center privileges required
- No temporary privileges available
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional
- Cardiology
- Kansas medical license or IMLC
- BLS required
- PALS required
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
Additional Information:
- Travel and lodging provided according to locum tenens terms
- Malpractice insurance provided by the vendor
- Licensing costs are not reimbursed by the facility
- Additional 2027 coverage needs are currently being developed
