Coverage Details:
- Start Date: August 2026
- Location: Apple Valley, CA
- Specialties: Interventional Cardiology
- Ongoing assignment
- Inpatient setting
- Call-only coverage
- 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- 7–15 shifts per month
- Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
- EMR: Epic
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Requirements:
- Active California license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of residency)
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Additional Details:
- This is strictly a STEMI call position
- Providers can expect approximately 9–18 STEMI cases per month
- Occasional emergent cases may arise, with non-urgent cases typically managed by Cardiology
- 2 APPs provide support
- Interview availability within the next two weeks is requested
- Teams interview with hospital leadership and a physician representative
