Position Highlights

• Schedule: Combination of weekday coverage, night beeper call, and weekend STEMI call
• Coverage Need: Approximately 3 weeks of call coverage per month

Clinical Responsibilities

• Hospital-based cardiology consultations
• Inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterizations
• STEMI call coverage
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
• Echocardiogram interpretation
• Cardiac imaging and cardiac window evaluations
• Management of acute cardiovascular conditions

Practice Setting

• Hospital-Based Practice
• 74-Bed Acute Care Facility
• EMR: Epic
• Average Daily Volume:
  • Approximately 15 consults per day
  • Approximately 3 procedures per day

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification Required
• Active DEA Registration Required
• Experience performing cardiac catheterizations and TEEs
• Comfortable managing STEMI call coverage

Schedule Overview

Coverage includes:

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weeknight STEMI Call: 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend STEMI Call: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Multiple coverage blocks are available from September through December.

Credentialing

• Temporary Privileges Available for Providers with a Clean File
• Active PA License or IMLC LOQ Required Prior to Submission
