Health System in Southern Louisiana Seeking Interventional Cardiologist
- 281-bed nonprofit community hospital
- Recruiting due to continued growth
- Incoming Interventional Cardiologist would do about 30 structural cases initially. They have someone who will be retiring in 4-5 years and the numbers of cases for the new person will be ramping up during that time.
Competitive compensation:
- Interventional Cardiology: approximately $575K–$700K
New Outpatient Cardiology Center opened in 2026 featuring:
- 2 cath labs
- 4 echo rooms
- 2 TEE/stress testing rooms
- 15 pre/post procedure rooms
- Structural heart clinic
- Cardiovascular pre-admission testing
Additional highlights:
- Strong referral network with nearly 100 primary care physicians
- Cardiology team currently includes:
- 3 Interventional Cardiologists
- 2 General Cardiologists
- 1 Electrophysiologist
- 3 APPs
- Shared call with another cardiology group
- Opportunity to perform structural heart procedures if desired
- 3-year employment agreements
Benefits include:
