Health System in Southern Louisiana Seeking Interventional Cardiologist

  • 281-bed nonprofit community hospital
  • Recruiting due to continued growth
  • Incoming Interventional Cardiologist would do about 30 structural cases initially. They have someone who will be retiring in 4-5 years and the numbers of cases for the new person will be ramping up during that time.

Competitive compensation:

  • Interventional Cardiology: approximately $575K–$700K

New Outpatient Cardiology Center opened in 2026 featuring:

  • 2 cath labs
  • 4 echo rooms
  • 2 TEE/stress testing rooms
  • 15 pre/post procedure rooms
  • Structural heart clinic
  • Cardiovascular pre-admission testing

Additional highlights:

  • Strong referral network with nearly 100 primary care physicians
  • Cardiology team currently includes:
  • 3 Interventional Cardiologists
  • 2 General Cardiologists
  • 1 Electrophysiologist
  • 3 APPs
  • Shared call with another cardiology group
  • Opportunity to perform structural heart procedures if desired
  • 3-year employment agreements
