INTERNAL MEDICINE – INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: USA, Idaho
POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports The Department in providing interventional cardiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing catheter-based procedures, managing cardiovascular conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiac team. The position offers participation in a structured call rotation, involvement in regional outreach, and opportunities for teaching activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Interventional Cardiology
• Residency training in internal medicine
• Fellowship training in interventional cardiology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Idaho
• Clinical background in Interventional Cardiology
COMPETENCIES
• Performance of interventional cardiology procedures within defined practice scope
• Collaboration with cardiologists, surgeons, and clinical support teams
• Participation in inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
• Use of industry-standard EMR and diagnostic tools
• Delivery of patient-centered interventional cardiac care
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Academic/Training Program
• Multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including interventional, non-invasive, surgical, and electrophysiology specialists
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities integrated across cardiac services
• Access to modern procedural suites and diagnostic resources
• Participation in structured call rotation and regional outreach
• Optional involvement in educational activities for learners
