📋 Description
A healthcare facility in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This role offers a supportive clinical environment, advanced procedural work, and recurring coverage opportunities.
The provider will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings with dedicated APP, cath lab, and clinical support staff available.
Job Responsibilities
🔹 Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage including 24-hour call
🔹 Perform advanced cardiac procedures including:
• Right & Left Heart Cath (R/LHC)
• PCI
• Balloon Angioplasty
• Balloon Pump
• IVUS
🔹 Manage approximately 18 patients per day
🔹 Document patient care using EPIC EMR
🔹 Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient care teams
🔹 Participate in hospital-based and clinic-based patient care
Qualifications
✔️ Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
✔️ Active Pennsylvania medical license required
✔️ DEA required
✔️ ACLS/BLS certifications required
✔️ Experience in Interventional Cardiology procedures required
Working Hours
⏰ 24-hour call coverage
Current dates include:
• Aug 22 | 8a–8a
• Aug 23 | 8a–8a
📌 Up to 40 hours per week every other month plus vacation coverage as needed
Skills

⭐ Ability to work in an academic and hospital setting
⭐ Excellent communication and patient management skills
⭐ Comfortable working with multidisciplinary clinical teams
