Locums – Gettysburg, Pennsylvania | Interventional Cardiology Opportunity

Join a dynamic interventional cardiology float pool opportunity providing a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, procedures, and STEMI call coverage. This role offers a balanced schedule with consistent procedural volume and ongoing need.

Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Mix of clinic, inpatient consults, and procedures
• STEMI call coverage included
• Consistent monthly need with ongoing coverage
• Balanced procedural and consult volume
• Opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital environment

• Weekday Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (clinic, consults, procedures)
• Weekday Call: Monday–Friday 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM (STEMI call)
• Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour STEMI call)
• Coverage Needs: Approximately 3 weeks of call per month

Setting: Hospital

Patient Population: Adult

Daily Volume:

• ~15 consults per day
• ~3 procedures per day

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterizations
• Managing interventional cardiology consults
• Providing STEMI call coverage
• Reading and interpreting cardiac studies
• Collaborating with hospital staff and care teams

Procedures:

• Cardiac catheterizations
• TEEs (Transesophageal echocardiograms)
• Echo interpretations
• Cardiac imaging (cardiac windows)

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Facility Details:

• 74-bed hospital

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Pennsylvania license – required
• IMLC accepted
• DEA required
