Locum - Cardiology: Interventional - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Interventional Cardiologist

Join a leading healthcare facility in Paducah, Kentucky! Our dedicated team at a well-respected hospital is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for locum coverage. This facility is committed to providing top-notch medical services to the local community and offers a vibrant practice setting with a focus on inpatient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide locum coverage for 3-7 days per month.
• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
• Conduct general cardiology consults as required.
• Perform essential procedures including:
  • Balloon Angioplasties
  • Coronary Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Heart Catheterization
  • Coronary Angiograms
• Read diagnostic studies such as EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (REQUIRED)
• Active Kentucky License and DEA (REQUIRED); IMLC considered for providers with 3-7 days/month availability
• ACLS Certification (REQUIRED)
• COVID Vaccine (PREFERRED)
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation date (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:
