Job Details:
- 3-7 Days/month availability
- Practice Setting: Inpatient/EMTALA Call
- Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: No ambulatory work
- Number of Interventional Cardiologists in Group: 2
- Will Other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult patient population
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic Cupid
Job Responsibilities
Balloon Angioplasties
Coronary Angioplasty
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Heart Catheterization
Coronary Angiograms
General Cardiology Responsibilities:
Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital
General Cardiology consults as needed
Reading Studies to include EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)
Qualifications
Board Certified - [REQUIRED]
Active KY License & DEA - [REQUIRED]; willing to consider IMLC if provider has 3-7 days/month availability
ACLS - [REQUIRED]
COVID Vaccine - [PREFFERED]
A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - [REQUIRED]
Working Hours
24 hour on-call shifts (7am - 7am); 3-7 days per month
