- Other Details: The position is for a board-certified or board-eligible interventional cardiologist, with board certification required for reading nuclear studies, and DEA registration. It is an ongoing contract involving clinic, procedures, and call coverage, with Monday–Friday shifts including clinic and call and 24-hour call on weekends. Specific coverage dates include May 8–12, May 14–18, May 25–29, June 9, June 11–12, June 23–25, July 10–13, and July 17–20. Coverage includes one week plus one weekend per month, with an average of 17–18 patients per day and average callbacks of 2–4 hours per day on weekends. Support staff includes an APP for interventional cases if performing general cardiology procedures. The patient population is adults, and the department handles STEMI cases, with no cardiothoracic surgery onsite.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform procedures and manage clinic visits Monday–Friday
* Participate in 24-hour call coverage on weekends
* Respond to callbacks averaging 2–4 hours per day on weekends
* Collaborate with APPs and other support staff as needed for interventional procedures
* Manage STEMI cases and coordinate care for patients without onsite cardiothoracic surgery
Qualifications
* Board certification required for reading nuclear studies
* DEA registration required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience
Working Hours
* Clinic and call Monday–Friday
* 24-hour call coverage on weekends
* Coverage includes one week plus one weekend per month, with specific dates scheduled in May, June, and July

* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making for STEMI and acute cases
