- Other Details: The position is for a board-certified interventional cardiologist with DEA, ACLS, and BLS certification. It is an ongoing contract with weekday shifts from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with nightly call when covering and STEMI call responsibilities. Coverage is needed up to 40 hours per week once every other month and as needed for vacation coverage. The practice serves adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, with an average of 18 patients per day, and involves performing interventional cardiology procedures including right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC), PCI, balloon angioplasty, balloon pump, and IVUS. Support staff includes an assigned clinical team for outpatient care, an APP for inpatient care, and cath lab personnel.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform procedures including right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC), PCI, balloon angioplasty, balloon pump, and IVUS
* Participate in nightly call coverage and STEMI call when scheduled
* Manage both outpatient and inpatient care with assigned support staff and APP
* Collaborate with cath lab personnel and clinical teams to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
* DEA registration required
* ACLS and BLS certification required
* Active medical license required
Working Hours
* Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
* Nightly call when covering
* STEMI call responsibilities
* Coverage up to 40 hours per week once every other month and as needed for vacation coverage
Skills
* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills for acute and chronic cases
