Locums – Interventional Cardiology Paducah, Kentucky (IMLC Accepted) Start: ASAP
Availability Needed- 3–7 days per month
- 24-hour on-call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekend coverage required
- On-call required
- Inpatient / EMTALA call only (no ambulatory work)
- Inpatient hospital coverage
- 2 Interventional Cardiologists in group
- Other Interventional Cardiologists present during locum coverage: Yes
- Adult patient population
- EMR: Epic Cupid
- Balloon Angioplasties
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Heart Catheterization
- Coronary Angiograms
- Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
- General cardiology consults as needed
- Read studies including:
- EKG
- Echocardiograms
- Stress tests (including nuclear)
- Board Certified – REQUIRED
- Active Kentucky License – REQUIRED
- DEA – REQUIRED
- IMLC accepted (must have 3–7 days/month availability)
- ACLS – REQUIRED
