Locum - Interventional Cardiologist

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join our locum coverage pool in the vibrant city of Paducah, Kentucky, beginning January/February 2026. Our healthcare facility is committed to providing high-quality care within an inpatient setting, ensuring that you will work alongside experienced professionals. You'll have the opportunity to engage with an adult patient demographic and utilize advanced technology, including Epic Cupid for documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for 3-7 days per month, responding to all cardiology calls in the hospital.
• Perform required interventional procedures, including but not limited to balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms.
• Conduct general cardiology consults as needed.
• Analyze and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
• Active Kentucky License & DEA - REQUIRED; willing to consider IMLC if provider has 3-7 days/month availability
• ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccine - PREFERRED
• A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Kentucky Medical License
• DEA Registration
• Board Certification in Cardiology
• ACLS Certification
