Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
  • Valid medical license in the relevant state.
  • Proven expertise in performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and other catheter-based interventions.
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with STEMI call coverage.
  • Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Familiarity with the latest interventional cardiology technologies and techniques.
  • Experience coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a Cardiology fellowship program.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-fellowship clinical experience in interventional cardiology.

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a rotation including day shifts, nights, and weekends.
  • Availability for STEMI call coverage, including one night per week, every third weeknight, and every third weekend, from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Ability to start promptly pending credentialing and licensing.

Compensation for this position is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
