Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join its busy practice. Our group consists of 3 interventional cardiologist, 2 non-invasive cardiologist, and 4 Advanced Practitioners.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure, TAVR, vascular surgery, and electrophysiology.
  • Currently, our physicians cover one hospital.
  • Call is every 5th for everybody and for interventional it’s every 3rd call. We rotate cath lab days as well as weekly hospital coverage, and night-time and weekend call. Weekly hospital coverage includes rounding on the weekends.
  • We rotate to 8 different satellite locations for clinical practice and each physician rotates to 3 locations for their practice.
  • Our diagnostic department performs EKGs, Holter monitoring (24, 48-hour, 3-14 day and event monitoring up to 30 days), exercise stress tests (regular as well as nuclear), cardiac ultrasound (to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo), vascular ultrasound.
  • We have an Arrhythmia/device clinic, Cardiac rehab, and Heart failure clinic
