HIGHLIGHTS
• Ongoing assignment
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Shared call rotation
• Level III trauma environment
• Cerner & Athena EMR
• Support staff in place
• Strong travel package within CHS caps
SCHEDULE
• Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Day schedule anticipated around 7:00am–5:00pm
• Call schedule: TBD (shared with department)
• Coverage needed ongoing
CASE MIX
• Interventional cardiology procedures
• Inpatient rounding and consults
• Outpatient clinic coverage
• Average ~15 patients per shift
DEPARTMENT DETAILS
• Acute care hospital
• Inpatient and outpatient practice
• Trauma Level III
• EMR: Cerner & Athena
• Support staff available
REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Interventional Cardiology Fellowship (required)
• Active Alaska license required
• ABLS, ACLS, BLS
• DEA
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days
