Seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for locum coverage in a combined inpatient, outpatient clinic, and call-based cardiology practice. The position includes weekday clinic hours with shared weekday, night, and weekend call responsibilities. The provider will work alongside other interventional cardiologists in a collaborative environment caring for adult patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage outpatient clinic visits and follow-ups
• Participate in weekday, night, and weekend call rotations
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures as required
• Collaborate with other cardiologists and healthcare teams
• Document patient care using EMR
• Deliver high-quality cardiovascular care to adult patients
Qualifications
• Active Iowa Medical License (Required; IMLC not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
• Self-Query NPDB report at time of presentation (Required)
• Ability to participate in full call rotation
Working Hours
• Call:
o Weekday call and weekday night call
o Weekend call
o Call shared in rotation with other providers
• Dates of coverage: To be determined
