Job description
Hospital seeking an Interventional Cardiologist (BC/BE) for ongoing coverage.
Start Date: ASAP once credentialed
Contract: 3 months, ongoing (support needed through end of 2026)
Credentialing: ~90 days
Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p

Call: 1 night/week + 1 weekend/month (negotiable)

Cannot consider call-only providers
Practice Setting: Hospital

Duties: Hospital rounding, temporary pacemakers, cardiac caths, coronary interventions, STEMIs, EKGs, Echos
-
Patients: Avg. 15/day weekdays; up to 25/day weekends

Patient Population: All ages
-
EMR: EPIC
-
Skills: TEE not required (preferred)
Coverage Needs:

Prefer full-time (40 hrs/week)

PRN considered
Travel & Lodging: Provided
Requirements:

Board Certified or BE
-
Active IL license (IMLC candidates considered)

DEA required
-
BLS & ACLS
-
1+ year experience required (no new grads)
