- June 11 or 12 (6:00 AM) – June 15 (6:00 AM)
- June 17 or 18 (6:00 AM) – June 22 (6:00 AM)
Practice Details:
- Inpatient cardiology coverage only
- Admissions required
- Stroke-certified hospital
- Trauma Level I facility
- Department size: 32 beds
- Average patients per shift: 6–10
- Rounding on assigned patients
- EMR: Cerner
Support Staff:
- RNs: 3
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active Montana license or IMLC eligibility
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Required Skills & Procedures:
- Inpatient cardiology
- ICU coverage
- Echocardiography & TEE (Preferred)
- Nuclear cardiology
- STEMI management
- Diagnostic invasive cardiology
- Cardiac catheterization
- PA catheter & IABP placement
- Heart biopsy
- Interventional cardiology including:
- Angioplasty (PTCA)
- Intracoronary stent placement
- Atherectomy
Additional Notes:
This role is primarily weekend coverage with a few additional dates. Coverage is cath lab only (no inpatient or hospital duties). The average volume is 5–10 cases per day (lighter on weekends) with approximately 10–15 STEMI cases per month.
