Job Title: Locum to Perm - Physician - Invasive Cardiology
We are seeking a Board-Certified Invasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers an enriching practice environment that includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, supported by experienced colleagues. The facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients and utilizes the EPIC documentation system for streamlined operations. With a strong focus on collaboration and patient-centered care, you'll be a key player in enhancing cardiac services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required.
- Supervise and support 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
- Participate in a rotating night and weekend call schedule (1:6 ratio).
- Manage an average of 10 clinic patients and 12-15 inpatient admissions daily.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified in Invasive Cardiology.
- Experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD).
- Proven track record in managing cardiac patient populations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification - [REQUIRED]
- ACLS Certification - [REQUIRED]
- AHF Fellowship with LVAD experience - [REQUIRED]
- Active DEA License - [REQUIRED]
- Active Virginia Medical License - [REQUIRED]
- Clean background check - [REQUIRED]
- A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation - [REQUIRED]
