Schedule & Call Details:
- Coverage Type: Beeper call (not required to remain in-house)
- Patients Seen: - 12 per shift
- Call Back Percentage: 10%
- Required Response Time: Within 30 minute
- Rounding: Yes — ER + Inpatient
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide interventional cardiology coverage for inpatient services
- Manage STEMI cases and acute cardiac emergencies
- Perform inpatient rounding and consults
- Participate in teaching or resident supervision if needed
- Supervise 1 APP (PA/NP)
Environment & Support:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Beds in Hospital: 295
- EMR: MediTech
- Stroke-Certified Center: Yes
Required Qualifications:
- MD with Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship completion)
- Active Kentucky medical license
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Must be within driving distance
- Credentialing timeframe: - 14 days
