We are seeking board-certified Interventional Cardiologists to join our locum coverage pool beginning Jan/Feb 2026 in Paducah, KY. This is a flexible opportunity offering 3-7 days per month with a focus on inpatient and EMTALA call coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Clinic Patients: No ambulatory work
Group Size: 2 Interventional Cardiologists
Support: Other Interventional Cardiologists present during locum coverage
Patient Population: Adult
Documentation/EMR: Epic Cupid
Required Procedures:
Balloon Angioplasties
Coronary Angioplasty
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Heart Catheterization
Coronary Angiograms
General Cardiology Responsibilities:
Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
General cardiology consults as needed
Reading studies including EKG, ECHOs, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)
Qualifications
Active KY License & DEA – REQUIRED (IMLC considered for 3-7 days/month availability)
ACLS – REQUIRED
Working Hours
24-hour on-call shifts (7am – 7am)
3-7 days per month
