Locums | Interventional Cardiologist | Call Only | Nampa, ID (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Provide essential interventional cardiology coverage for a high-acuity community hospital.
  • Enjoy focused inpatient-only work with a balanced case mix and APP daytime support.
  • Flexible, recurring 24-hour call schedule with opportunities for extended assignments.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Call Only Setting: Inpatient Start Date: December 2, 2025 End Date: April 21, 2026 (with potential extensions) Schedule: 24-hour call; coverage dates include 12/2–12/8 • 12/23–1/5 • 1/22–1/28 • 2/18–2/24 • 3/19–3/25 • 4/16–4/21 Average Volume: 3 consults and 2 procedures per day Support: 1–2 APPs weekdays, 1 APP for 5 hours/day weekends Beds: 18 ICU, 18 telemetry, 10 CMU Trauma Level: II EMR: Epic Clinical Details Interventional cardiology procedures including coronary stents, IVUS, and IFR required Balloon pumps and STEMI coverage included (average 3 activations per week) TEE highly preferred Inpatient consults, procedures, and emergent interventions only (no clinic) Requirements Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine or Cardiovascular Disease Active Idaho medical license or IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) BLS certification COVID-19 vaccination required Clean malpractice and background Local candidates highly preferred (no flights) Ability to cover most or all listed dates Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
