Locums | Interventional Cardiology | Call Only | Lufkin, TX (IMLC accepted) Position Highlights

  • 24-hour in-house call coverage at a regional hospital
  • Fast-track credentialing (5 days, temp privileges available)
  • Level IV trauma center with strong hospitalist and nursing support
  • Located in East Texas, less than 2 hours from Houston
Coverage Start: November 27, 2025 End: Ongoing Schedule: Call Only, 24-hour in-house Call Ratio: 1:3 Call Response Time: 30 minutes EMR: Medhost Requirements Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Active TX license or IMLC ABLS required (ACLS preferred) Clean history Available for ongoing coverage starting November 2025 Clinical Details Patients per shift: 5–8 Admissions per shift: 2 Call Back: ~20% Procedures and responsibilities include: - Coronary interventions and diagnostic cardiac caths - Management of acute coronary syndromes and MI - Support for general cardiology cases No teaching or APP supervision required Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bid Malpractice insurance provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
