Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology Needed in Nampa, ID
Located at the corner of I-84 and Garrity Blvd, offers state-of-the-art, best-in-class healthcare to residents of Canyon County. This hospital features a complete diagnostic center, 6 suite surgical operating theatre, pre/post-operative holding and recovery rooms, 10-bed short stay observation unit, spacious and private patient rooms and an 18-bed ICU. Built with preventive and ambulatory health in mind, the facility accommodates the latest information technology, updated diagnostic and treatment technology, and an environment proved to reduce patient stress and recovery times.
Start Date: ASAP - Pending Credentialing
Shift: 24 Hour On Call (Weekend, Holiday and Call Back)
Current Coverage Needed:
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Volume: Varies with 3 consults per day, 2 procedures per day
Trauma Level II
Bed Count: 18 ICU, 18 Telemetry & 10 CMU
APP Support: APP's Mon - Fri (1-2 staffed during the day). Weekends (1 APP for 5 hours/day)
Additional Information:
Interventional Cardiology procedures REQUIRED
TEE's highly preferred. Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs & IFR are important
STEMI volumes vary greatly. In 2020, facility averaged 3 STEMI activations per week
REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIREMENTS:
- Board Certified Interventional Cardiology AND either Internal Med BC or Cardiovascular Disease BC. No exceptions
- Active ID License or Active IMLC
- Clean malpractice and no background
- Local Candidates, no flights highly preferred
- Must have COVID Vaccine
- Must be able to cover most/all of open dates
