A leading hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a 6-month locums assignment starting in January 2026. This is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced cardiac team, providing advanced interventional care while enjoying the flexibility of a locums schedule.

Whether you’re available full-time or prefer 1–2 weeks per month, this position offers flexibility, professional challenge, and the chance to work in a department known for its complex, high-acuity cases and strong team culture.

🩺 Work Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

• Call: Some nights/weekends (25% callback rate, discussed during interview)

• Cases: 2–4 per day | Adults (18+)

• Support Staff: Nurses, techs, APPs

• Hospital Size: 550 beds

• EMR: Epic

• Procedures: Right/left heart caths, coronary angiograms/interventions, chronic total occlusions, high-risk PCI (Impella support), lower extremity work

• Environment: Balanced caseload; not overly busy but clinically complex — ideal for physicians who excel under pressure and value collaboration

✅ Requirements

• Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (fellowship required)

• Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred due to complexity of cases

• Licensure: Active license required; IMLC considered

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA required

• Credentialing: ~90 days
