We’re seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity starting January 2026 in Denver, Colorado. 📅 Assignment Details

Start Date: January 2026

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Minimum Commitment: 1 week per month

Call: Night and weekend call rotations (details discussed during interview)

Patient Volume: ~2–4 cases/day

Patient Population: Adult (18+)

Setting: Academic, high-acuity, collaborative environment
🩺 Clinical Scope

Right & left heart cath
-
Coronary angiogram
-
Coronary interventions
-
Arm and lower extremity work

Chronic total occlusions and high-risk PCI with Impella (varies by experience)
👉 No venous procedures
The department handles complex, high-acuity cases. They’re seeking a physician who is technically strong, communicates well with staff and residents, and thrives in a team-oriented academic setting.
✅ Requirements

Board Certified & Fellowship Trained in Interventional Cardiology

Colorado license (IMLC considered)

BLS & ACLS required
-
DEA required
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred due to case complexity

Credentialing: ~90 days
