Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7 AM – 7 AM)

Setting: Inpatient

Facility: Hospital Stroke Certified

Privileges: Emergency privileges available

Patient Type: Assigned and Unassigned

Response Time: 30 minutes required

EMR System: Cerner

Clinical Expectations

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage during call periods

• Manage acute cardiac events and STEMI cases

• Perform emergency catheterizations and interventional procedures as indicated

• Collaborate with the cardiology and hospital teams for consults and patient management

Requirements

• Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology – Required

• Fellowship: Required

• Active Tennessee License: Required

• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, and BLS – Required
