Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, is actively seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens call coverage. Rates:

24-Hour On-Call (Weekday): $2,800 (includes 8 gratis hours)

Credentialing Requirements (Upon Acceptance):

Job Responsibilities
Provide inpatient-only cardiology care on a 24-hour on-call basis
Perform interventional cardiology procedures including:
Coronary stents
Balloon pumps
IVUs and IFR
Conduct TEE procedures (preferred)
Respond to STEMI activations (volume averages 3 per week)
Handle 3 consults/day and 2 procedures/day on average
Collaborate with APPs (1–2 during weekdays, 1 on weekends for 5 hrs/day)
Cover shifts during the following periods:
January 19–25
February 23 – March 1
March 16–22
April 27 – May 3
Qualifications
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – REQUIRED
Active Idaho medical license or Active IMLC with LOQ at time of name clear – REQUIRED
Clean malpractice history and background check – REQUIRED
COVID-19 vaccination – REQUIRED (verbal confirmation needed at time of name clear)
Local candidates (within driving distance) – Highly Preferred
Must be able to cover most or all of the listed dates – REQUIRED
Working Hours
7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour on-call shifts)
Weekends and holidays required
Call schedule includes:
Daily: 7a–5p on-call
24-hour call on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (7a–7a next day)
Skills
Advanced interventional cardiology skills including STEMI management
Proficiency in TEE, coronary intervention, and hemodynamic support tools
Ability to manage ICU and telemetry patients
Strong inpatient consultative and procedural experience
Excellent communication and decision-making skills under pressure
Experience working in Level II Trauma Centers preferred
