Duration: 26 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Position Overview:
I am seeking a Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on a locum basis. This role includes procedural work, clinic visits, and call coverage, with flexibility for weekend rotations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
- Perform procedures including:
- Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC/RHC)
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Participate in general and STEMI call coverage
- Respond to night calls (1–2 nights during 2-week rotation)
- Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and clinic support staff
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Active Missouri license or IMLC
- Board Eligible
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Patient Volume:
- Clinic: 18–25 patients/day
- Procedures: 5–7 per day
Compensation:
- Open bill rate – please submit competitive bids
- Weekend coverage: 4–5 days over a weekend period, 2 weeks/month
Additional Information:
- EMR System: Epic
- On-call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Privileging: Emergency temps available; full credentialing takes ~90 days
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions may be considered)
