Weekend Coverage: 24-hour call on weekends (no gratis)

Setting: 100% inpatient – rounding and consults
Work Details

Support Staff: 8 cardiologists in group

Patient Population: Adults only

Daily Procedures: 3–4 procedures/day

Department Description: Inpatient cardiology service with procedural and consultative responsibilities

EMR: Epic

Procedures Include:
-
Cardiac catheterizations
-
Coronary interventions
-
STEMI management
-
EKGs & echocardiograms
-
Temporary pacemakers
-
Requirements
-
Board Certification: Internal Medicine required
-
State License: Active IL license or IMLC
-
Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA required)

DEA: Required
-
Experience: Minimum 1 year+

COVID-19: Vaccination + booster required

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days
