Health system in Sioux Falls is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join their innovative and collaborative team. Join 2 EPs, 3 General, 3 Interventionalists, and 22 APPs. Sioux Falls is the largest city in South Dakota, located on the Big Sioux River, with lots of family friendly activities, fine dining, an active outdoor music scene, and no state income tax.
Clinic hours are from 8:00am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Multidisciplinary approach with close integration across subspecialities. Forward thinking team culture that encourages clinical innovation and research. Interventional Cardiologists each have 20+ years of experience. Strong mentorship and collaboration among the team. Accredited General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship programs. Active involvement of fellows in research and procedural training. Currently have 9 General Fellows and 1 IC, 1 Fellow in house at night, 7 days a week. Take first call for attending cardiologist on call. High-volume TAVR center. Expertise in Mitraclip procedures for mitral valve repair. Established Watchman device program for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation. Access to cutting edge technology: 4 Cardiac cath labs (2 brand new to be installed in 2026). Emphasis on continuing education, clinical trials, and program development. Nationally competitive compensation plan. Some outreach required.
