Job description
We are seeking two highly skilled and board-certified Interventional Cardiologists to provide hospital call coverage in Nampa, ID. This is an inpatient-only locum assignment covering 24-hour shifts (7a–7a) with blocks of 5–6 consecutive days twice per month. Candidates must be proficient in a wide range of interventional procedures and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a Trauma Level II facility.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform advanced interventional procedures such as TEE, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUS, and IFR.
• Respond to STEMI activations and other emergent cardiac cases in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and adherence to hospital policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Active Idaho license or active IMLC at the time of name clear – Required
• Clean malpractice and background – Highly Preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination – Required
• Local candidates preferred (no flights)
Working Hours
• 5–6 consecutive day blocks twice per month
• Weekend and holiday call coverage as scheduled
