Established Patient Panel | $500K+ Base | Partnership Track
This interventional cardiology opportunity offers the chance to join an established cardiovascular practice serving the greater Chicago area. Physicians stepping into this role inherit an active patient panel and immediate procedural demand while working alongside an experienced cardiology team. Practice Overview
- Join an established interventional cardiology team including 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Electrophysiologist, and 1 Nurse Practitioner
- Immediate access to an existing patient panel with strong procedural demand
- Referral network of 45 primary care physicians supporting consistent cardiovascular volume
- Perform a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures and diagnostic studies, including cardiac catheterization, TEE, echocardiography, and cardiac stress testing
Schedule
- Five-day workweek with flexibility in clinic and hospital responsibilities
- Mix of daily inpatient rounding and half-day cardiology clinics, 3-4 days per week
- Collaborative interventional call schedule of 1:3
- Weekend call is typically once per month, with a compensatory weekday off
- Typical workday begins around 7:30 AM and concludes by approximately 5:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $500,000+ with additional productivity incentives
- $50,000 sign-on bonus

Candidate Profile
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Graduate of a U.S. medical school
- Comfortable practicing interventional cardiology without on-site CT surgery backup
