Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist (Locum Assignment)
Locations: 2 locations approximately 2 hours west of Philadelphia
Employment Type: 1099
Start Date: June (60 days for credentialing)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our team for a locum assignment at two locations situated approximately 2 hours west of Philadelphia. This position will primarily involve cathlab coverage and call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interventional cardiology procedures in the cathlab
• Maintain a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Participate in weeknight call coverage from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Weekend call coverage on a 1:4 rotation, Saturday and Sunday, 24-hour shifts

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Additional Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Estimated shifts per month: 20
• Temporary privileges available
• Prompt response required for calls, typically within 30 minutes
• Physicians are notified of STEMI cases via phone and pager
• Consultative role only; cardiology does not handle admissions
• Ability to cover STEMI cases, cardiac caths, interventions, and urgent Acute Pulmonary Emboli preferred
• Will work solo with support staff available

Practice Setup Information:

• Adult patient population
• Procedures include PCI and PE
