Interventional Cardiology Opportunity - Statesboro, GA

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join a hospital-employed practice. New grads are welcome to apply.

Provider will perform general Cardiology, cover Stemi calls, and be comfortable with Coronary and Peripheral procedures.

Office space (2,600 sq ft) is in MOB on campus and is fully ready to accommodate. Cath Lab Block ready.

East Georgia Regional's healthcare team consists of approximately 1000 associates and over 120 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catherization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 7 OBGYNs, 21 PCPs, 3 General Surgeons on staff. Large referral base. Robust hospitalist program with 8 Hospitalists (6 daytimers and 2 nocturnists).

Statesboro, the largest city in Bulloch County (service area 225,000+) in southeast Georgia, is home to Georgia Southern University (enrollment 25,000), the third largest university in the state.
