Waterloo Iowa is looking for an Interventional Cardiologist Locum for sporadic coverage to cover extended vacations.
Dates of Coverage: exact dates TBD. Last 2 weeks of December 2023 and the first week in January 2024. Occasional ongoing weekends required.
- Clinic Hours: 8am - 5pm.
- Call starts at 5pm - 8am next day. Weekday call for one or two days. Weekend off-site call is Friday 5pm - Monday 8am.
- Typical volumes/day: Varies
- Types of cases: TEE, Stents
- Typical volume while on call (call back volumes): 5-6 calls from ER, weekends up to 1-2 caths maximum, 1-2 Stemi during week days.
- Any patients under 18 y/o? NO
- Staffing mix (support staff, residents/fellows): ARNP, PA-C, mixture of RNs, LPNs and MA’s in clinic. ARNP and PA-C do stress tests
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified - Required
- Active IA License or IMLC - Required
- COVID Vaccine - Note at time of name clear
