Specialty: Advanced Heart Failure or Critical Care Cardiology
Schedule: 1 week every 4 weeks
Shift: Monday 7AM → Monday 7AM (Inpatient days 7AM–7PM + night call 7PM–7AM)
Setting: Inpatient
Start: ASAP upon credentialing
Commitment: Long-term, ongoing need

Assignment Details

• Work alongside 3 full-time staff physicians
• Daily census: approx. 10–12 patients
• Trauma Level: I
• EMR: Epic
• This is a heavily critical care–focused role
• Participate in the shock program
• Primary attending responsibilities for ECMO and LVAD
• Manage ECMO (VV + VA), Impella, and durable LVADs
• No transplant responsibilities

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Any active state license accepted (willing to consider candidates needing WA license if able to cover 1 week/month)
• Fellowship training preferred
• ACLS + BLS required
• Credentialing: ~90 days
