Excellent BC/BE Electrophysiologist Opportunity

Looking for an electrophysiologist to lead the Intermountain Healthcare Electrophysiology program with the primary practice at the Intermountain Heart Institute on the Intermountain Medical Center campus in Murray, UT. This is a system wide position with accountability for all electrophysiologists within the Cardiovascular service line. The individual will be an outstanding leader and skilled physician, who will work collaboratively with other Intermountain leaders to define, establish, and oversee the Electrophysiology program within the Cardiovascular service line. The clinician leader (20% administrative, 80% clinical) will be responsible for the leadership, oversight, and support for the development of a culture of high reliability and the measurement of care, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and executing on strategies to drive efficient, high-quality patient care within Electrophysiology. The individual will also work in tandem with operations and nursing officers for the management of the administrative, financial, and clinical performance of electrophysiology procedures at Intermountain.

Intermountain Heart Institute at Intermountain Medical Center

The Intermountain Heart Institute, part of the Intermountain Healthcare system, provides nationally and internationally recognized cardiovascular care and healthcare throughout Utah with a referral base from all the surrounding states. Expertise related to epicardial VT ablation is highly desirable.

We are a well-established, collegial, and dedicated group, including four other electrophysiologists. There are three committed electrophysiology laboratories to allow complex ablations and electrophysiology procedures. The electrophysiologists are supported by a multi-specialty cardiology practice, including invasive and noninvasive specialists, an advanced heart failure/ transplant program, advanced cardiac imaging, a high-volume structural heart disease program, cardiovascular surgeons, and several advanced practice providers.

The applicant will have access to modern electrophysiology laboratories and a hybrid operating room. The laboratories are equipped with sophisticated mapping systems and ablation modalities. There is also an atrial appendage occlusion program and a large volume of implantable devices.

The Intermountain Heart Institute is a part of the integrated system-wide electrophysiology team.

Practice Information
