Job description
Join a collaborative cardiology team in Bellingham, Washington as a Locum Electrophysiology Physician. This role offers a recurring 1-week-per-month schedule with a combination of Electrophysiology and General Cardiology coverage.
Assignment Duration: Approximately 9 months
Start: ASAP, as soon as credentialed
Average Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients

- Setting: Hospital and clinic
Job Responsibilities
Perform and manage procedures ranging from pacemaker procedures to cardiac ablations
General Cardiology responsibilities may include:
Cardioversions
TEE procedures, approximately 2–4 per shift
Adult patient population
Rounding and admissions as applicable
Collaborate with APC support available Monday–Saturday
Qualifications
Board Certified in Cardiology
Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Minimum 1 year of experience
Active Washington medical license or eligible for Washington licensure
IMLC accepted
ACLS and BLS required
NRP required
Recent cardiovascular clinical activity
100 Electrophysiology cases documented within the previous 24 months
EP and General Cardiology privileges required as applicable
Working Hours
Coverage: Approximately 1 week per month
Weeknight Call: Approximately 2 weeknight calls during the assigned week
Weekend Call: Potential 24-hour weekend call as needed
Call Coverage: Includes 4 hours of gratis call time
