We're seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist (MD/DO) for a 6-month locum assignment in Springfield, Oregon, with potential for extension.
📍 Position Highlights
- Location: Springfield, OR
- Start Date: January 2027
- Duration: 26 weeks, with potential extension
- Schedule: 8-hour clinic shifts, 3–4 days/week
- Coverage: Approximately 2 weeks per month
- Weekend EP call: 1–2 weekends/month
- Potential for EP lab days for the right candidate
🏥 Practice Details
- Inpatient & outpatient coverage
- 388-bed facility
- Geriatric and adult patients (50+)
- Average 3–4 patients/day
- Weekend rounding and inpatient pacemaker implantation
- Weekend call from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Approximately 5 hours of rounding each weekend day
- Work alongside Interventional and General Cardiology teams
- Epic EMR
🔹 Required Procedures
- Inpatient pacemaker implantation
- DCCV/Cardioversion
- Electrophysiology procedures
- Ablation experience is a plus
✅ Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- BLS & ACLS
- Active cardiology practice experience
- At least 100 inpatient cardiology cases within the last 24 months
- At least 30 EP cases within the last 24 months
- Ablation privileges require 30 ablation cases within the previous year
- Oregon license or willingness to obtain
- Epic experience preferred
