INTERNAL MEDICINE – CLINICAL CARDIAC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: USA, Kentucky
POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a clinical cardiac electrophysiology specialist to join a dedicated electrophysiology team within a large cardiovascular service line. The role focuses exclusively on electrophysiology, supported by a broad network of cardiac subspecialists and advanced practice professionals. The position contributes to a high-volume referral environment and supports continued program growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
• Interest in a full-time electrophysiology practice within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular program.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage complex heart rhythm disorders.
• Skill in performing electrophysiology procedures within a coordinated care model.
• Effective collaboration with cardiology subspecialists and advanced practice professionals.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered subspecialty care.
• Capacity to support a busy EP practice with strong referral resources.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• 100% electrophysiology practice with EP-only call.
• Collaboration with a large cardiovascular service line including multiple subspecialties.
• Access to modern EP labs, imaging resources, and industry-standard EMR.
• Strong referral base supported by extensive primary care outreach.
