Position: Physician – Electrophysiology (Locum)
Location: Chambersburg
Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity providing both outpatient and inpatient care in a collaborative, team-based setting.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call required
- Ongoing assignment with flexible monthly coverage
Practice Details
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Approximately:
- 16 patients/day (outpatient)
- 10–15 patients/day (inpatient)
- Support includes:
- Dedicated outpatient clinical team
- Inpatient APP support
- EMR: Epic
- Academic and hospital-based setting
Procedures Required
- Pacemaker implantation
- ICD implant (traditional and subcutaneous)
- Loop recorder implant/explant
- Ablations (AVN, SVT, Atrial Flutter)
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Active DEA
Additional Details
- Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days (expedited options available for clean files)
