Patient Population

• Adult and geriatric cardiology patients

• Average 20 clinic patients/day

• Average 11 inpatient admissions/physician/day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care

• Perform non-invasive procedures including:

  • Electrical cardioversions

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

  • Tilt table tests

  • All electrophysiology procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR

• Adhere to hospital and departmental standards

Travel & Reimbursement

✈️ Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
🚗 Preference given to candidates within driving distance, if available

Credentialing

⏳ Estimated timeframe: 120 days
📄 Self-Query NPDB report required (within 30 days of presentation)

Requirements

Required

• Board Certified Cardiologist

• Active OH License (or willing to obtain)

• BLS / ACLS Certification

• NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days

Preferred

• Experience with EPIC EMR

• Prior inpatient and call coverage
