We’re working with a Level I trauma center in Youngstown, Ohio that is seeking a Locum Electrophysiology Physician beginning July 1, 2026, due to a change in FTE. This is a well-supported inpatient and call opportunity within a large cardiology group.

Position Overview

  • Location: Youngstown, OH

  • Start Date: July 1, 2026

  • Practice Setting: Inpatient with call coverage

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours

  • Call: 24-hour call, 1:4 rotation

  • Coverage Reason: Change in FTE

Facility & Program Details

  • Trauma Designation: Level I

  • Total Beds: 400

  • ICU Beds: 50

  • Cardiology Group: 20 Cardiologists

  • Onsite Cardiology Support: Yes

  • APP Supervision: 1 APP

  • Patient Population: Adult / Geriatric

  • EMR: Epic

Clinical Volume

  • Approximately 20 clinic patients per day

  • Around 11 inpatient admissions per physician per day

Job Responsibilities

Procedural Scope

Electrical Cardioversions

Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

Tilt Table Testing

Full spectrum of Electrophysiology procedures

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: ~120 days

The facility is open to physicians who are willing to obtain an Ohio license.

Qualifications

Board Certification
Active BLS & ACLS
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days.
