A well-established hospital in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology physician for locum coverage starting July 1, 2026. This role includes inpatient care with 24-hour call coverage and support from a large cardiology team. The opportunity offers strong clinical volume, APP support, and full travel reimbursement.
Job Responsibilities
Perform electrophysiology procedures including cardioversions and tilt table testing
Interpret EKGs and manage arrhythmia cases
Participate in 24-hour call coverage on a 1:4 rotation
Supervise one Advanced Practice Provider
Document care using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with cardiology and ICU teams in a Level I trauma setting
Qualifications
Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain – required
BLS and ACLS – required
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days at presentation) – required
Experience with inpatient and call-based EP services
Working Hours
Call: 24-hour on-call coverage
Call ratio: 1:4
Start date: July 1, 2026
