Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Youngstown, OH. This position involves inpatient coverage and on-call responsibilities at a high-acuity hospital with a well-established cardiology team and full clinical support.
Job Responsibilities
Perform all electrophysiology procedures, including electrical cardioversions
Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Conduct tilt table testing
Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation (1:4)
Supervise 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Collaborate with cardiology and ICU teams
Document care using Epic EMR
Qualifications
Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Ability to meet a 120-day credentialing timeline
Two current supervisory professional references
Working Hours
Day shift: 8 hours
On-call: 24-hour call required
Call ratio: 1:4
Weekend coverage as scheduled
Coverage start date: July 1, 2026
Skills
Experience managing adult and geriatric patients
